In the summer of 2012 I began a project to design and build from scratch a reverse trike sports car. A reverse trike (or RT) is a three wheel auto (some would call it a motorcycle) with two wheels up front and one wheel in the rear. My project is based on a popular RT designs called the T-Rex, however other than the concept, most similarities end there. I am making numerous changes in order to use as many off-the-shelf components as possible as well as some aesthetic changes.

RT is being constructed. I’ll try to summarize in each of these chapters how the design progressed and how I performed the construction. Hopefully I’ll take some pictures along the way
to help visualize how it was done.
